Unit 5 Study Areas
The Clark Kerr Campus Academic Service Center provides quiet study space in Building 1, Building 3,
and Building 12.

The Academic Service Center Reading Room located in building
1 (downstairs) is available for your use any time that
building 1 is open (7 am - 2 am on weekdays). The room
contains a sofa, three study carrels, a copy machine, and
a soda/snack vending machine. The study carrels have shelves,
chairs, task lights, power outlets, and Ethernet ports
for your laptop computer.

Seminar Room A (located in building 1 across from the
mail room) is available for your use as quiet study space
on weekdays between 7 am and 7pm. After 7pm check for scheduled
study sessions.

The Academic Service Center is a good place to study if you
don't mind a little noise.

Seminar Room B, located in Building 3 from an outside
entrance, is available to residents after 5pm on weekdays
for study group use. The key can be checked out from the
Academic Service Center staff with you Cal Student I.D.

Seminar Room C, located on the first floor of building
3, is available most days until 8pm. Your room key opens
the external doors to the building. After 8pm check for
scheduled study sessions.

Conference room D, located in Building 1 (downstairs)
is available for quiet study on most days, 5pm-8pm. After
8pm check for scheduled study sessions.

The building 12 Library is located in the basement of
building 12 and can be accessed by an external door from
the parking lot. This is a huge room with lots of desks
and chairs. If you prefer a spacious study environment,
then this is the place for you! The library is available
24 hours a day and is designated as a quiet space.
